Specialty coffee from Kivu.  It creates a cup of excellence that achieves a light white flower fragrance, with vegetal notes reminiscent of asparagus. You'll notice great intensity, a whole body, and high acidity.

This high-quality Bourbon varietal comes from the North Kivu Region in the Democratic Republic of Congo, specifically from a cooperative of small producers in the town of Hutwe located on the shores of Lake Edward. It is grown between 1,400 and 1,800 meters above sea level, in volcanic soil, and with abundant water. These factors give this African coffee a unique flavor that differs from many other origins.

AFRICAN BOURBON VARIETY

Everyone knows the wealth of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the country of gold and diamonds. But few know this jewel produced in the same land: a high-quality Arabica coffee of the Bourbon variety. In this country, there are ideal conditions for the cultivation of coffee, more specifically for this highly prized variety.

These coffees are grown in the mountains created by the Albertina fault, north of Lake Kivu. They grow between 1,400 and 1,800 meters above sea level, in volcanic soil, and with abundant water. The result is aromatic coffees with citric acidity, particularly blackberry, grape, and lemon flavors.
